FX Webinars Weekly Overview – February 15–19

Considering this past week, the USD had a major pullback against all other major currencies, despite raising yields. This probably has to do with market sentiment in consequence of Jerome Powell’s comments, stating that rates will stay low as long as full employment is not recovered.

Regarding this coming week, probably we will see all currencies gaining to the USD. With the stimulus from Biden’s office, inflation worries investors more and more, and with the recovery of the economy in all other parts of the world, probably we will see the USD losing some ground, as it happened last year, with the EURUSD going for the levels of late last year.
